I accumulate a weekly total of physical activity at least equivalent to:
  1. 150 Minutes of moderate intensity (equivalent to walking, ex. 3 days walking
    for 50 minutes each day), or
  2. 75 minutes at vigorous intensity (equivalent to running/jogging, ex. 3 days
    jogging for 25 minutes each day), or
  3. An equivalent combination of moderate plus vigorous activity, for example, 2 days walking 50 minutes = 100 minutes and 1 day of jogging 25 minutes.
NOTE: The US Department of Health and Human Services reports that meeting or exceeding the activity recommendations listed in a., b., c. above provides substantial health benefits.

Having a VO2max in the “Very Poor” category is associated with an increased risk of death from all causes. To lower the risk, raise VO2max through exercise.
